Quit Assist Classes
A Tobacco-Free Campus
IU Southeast is proud to announce that our campus will be tobacco-free begining August 1, 2007. A tobacco-free campus will mean a healthier learning and living environment at IU Southeast.
Free Quit Assist classes for students, faculty and staff
To assist with the transition to a tobacco-free enviornment, the campus will offer free Quit Assist classes to any staff, faculty or students who wish to attend. This four-week program will teach you steps that will increase your chances of quitting and staying smoke-free.
July Classes
Classes will begin on Wednesday, July 18 and meet four times over four weeks:
- Wednesday July 18
- Thursday July 26
- Wednesday August 1
- Wednesday August 8
August Classes
Classes will begin on Wednesday, August 8 and meet four times over four weeks:
- Wednesday August 8
- Wednesday August 15
- Wednesday August 22
- Wednesday August 29
All classes will be held in Hillside Hall Room 102 beginning promptly at 12:00 Noon for 1 hour.
If you wish to attend a Quit Assist class, but these times are not
convenient, please let us know. The campus will offer Quit Assist
classes again in September of this year, and will continue to do so
as long as there is enough interest.
